Recently our hot water cylinder started leaking and the old system needed replacing. I sent an enquiry to Boilergurus and they got back to me extremely quickly. Lydia arranged a call with Michal and he came to the house the following day to provide a quote for the work required. They moved things around and made availability in their diaries so the work could be done in a couple of days. The work was completed in 1 day and Michal left the place clean and tidy. Great service, talked through various options and felt we had very good advice; we were considering some extra work ( unvented cylinder) but they advised to hold off until needed. Our old boiler failed without warning in cold February and was "condemned" on a Saturday lunch-time. I had already contacted Boilergurus that morning as I had a feeling it would be irrepairable. Michal arrived around 3:30pm same day, determined what was needed and by shifting other work around was able to start on the Wednesday (less than 4 days later), with a colleague, and finished on Thursday evening, if not for brick dust going everywhere leaving us with a bit of a clean-up, despite their best efforts, I would give top marks for everything

Boiler stopped working on Tuesday evening after 7pm on the coldest week of the year. We contacted Boiler gurus, who replied very quickly and asked for videos of the problem. Michael checked the boiler the next day. For a 15+ years old boiler he recommended to replace it instead of spending 100s on it. They lent us heaters to keep us warm! I contacted a dealer for an urgent work Boilergurus contact me the same night. I sent all the issue that boiler had via whatsapp and they sent me a gas engineer to check the next morning . Unfortunately the boiler would have costed too much to fix it as it was an old boiler so we decided to replace it. This was on Wed and on Friday after we pay half of the quite Michal came to replace the boiler we ordered through the company. Lidya sent a clear quote with the price of the boiler and all the breaking costs. It took an entire day to work but finally we had a fully functional heating system.

We woke up to find a burst pipe in a box on the floor of our kitchen . This meant we had to turn off our water. We had a sudden terrible leak from our flat to the downstairs neighbour’s kitchen and bedroom below. It was very worrying and an emergency. I cannot recommend them enough! Our toilet cistern was causing some issues. Initially we went to another company who told us that they need to break the tiles (it is a built in cistern) and replace the cistern with another one as they cannot find an appropriate part. I decided to not continue and went to Boiler gurus instead. They did amazing job, they spend the time to find that part which was very difficult to find as it is an old cistern model but eventually they found it and repaired our cistern without the need of a new one or to break tiles. Had a leaking mains out front, infinity water fixed it but in doing so sent sludge/deposits into my boiler which stopped my boiler from firing due to the flow switched being caked up, Michael from boiler gurus came out assessed the job and got the boiler back up and running in no time, no parts required just hard graft, very efficient and would definitely recommend

This needed doing fairly urgently, as it was causing a fairly substantial leak from the overflow pipe. A very pleasant lady from Boilergurus arranged this for us on the phone and gave us a clear, fair, price. George Michal, who who came to do the job was slightly later than agreed, due to traffic problems, but phoned to let us know that he was on his way. He fixed the problem efficiently and cheerfully, also giving us some useful tips on managing our water system. All in all, we were very happy with Boilergurus.

Boiler gurus are extremely competitive, from beginning to end, I was kept informed. The work was carried out really well and it was finished before the time quoted and I paid the price quoted. The two engineers that came to my home worked really hard indeed. One of the engineers stayed longer to complete the work. Now I feel that we only see how a good service is, is when unforeseen circumstances arise. Due to my old pipes and previous workmanship, we had a leak. I notified Boilergurus the morning after, the engineer came back and sorted it the next day. The price paid was very competitive.

Michal came at short notice on a Sunday to assist with an emergency leak and even postponed other commitments to do so. Sorted everything with efficiency and courtesy. No hesitation in recommending.

It could not be fixed immediately as parts needed but temporary repair carried out so not left without water and Michal returned the next day - Saturday and completed the job. I went with this company having received assurances from Lydia anout the neatness of the job and their expertise as boiler people. In fact, they left a mess. The enginner used our hoover to try to clear up drywall dust and broke it. Having complained, I then recieved a barage of voicenotes, messages and emails which, among other things, accused me of simply wanting to upgrade my hoover and suggesting that any court would require video evidence of the hoover working immediately prior to their visit. I didnt have the mental energy to pursue this, due to health and other issues, but be warned.

T's not often that you find a really good professional these days. Someone reliable, who can fix a mess of pipework, install a new boiler and not charge you the earth. Michael is one of those exceptions that you will be glad to find. Michal responded very quickly to my call to him and arrived within a couple of hours. He located the problem, fixed it and solved the leak. I’ve booked him back in later in the week for a boiler service and to replace the timer on our boiler with something more modern. What really struck me about Michal was that he was really polite and courteous and came across very professionally. He was quick and efficient in his work.

Urban Glow came to repair a leaking toilet cistern from bathroom which was dripping to downstairs, staining the ceiling. I am very happy with work which was carried out promptly and efficiently. Polite and friendly. My landlord subsequently used Urban Glow to carry out the Landlord Gas Safety Certificate at this property.
